In the summer of 2024 I dared to exhibit in a gallery. It wasn’t very large, but for me it already meant taking an important step. Gus and Natalia helped me choose the collages that best fit the space, and their support was key throughout the process.

The exhibition was a group show and brought together several artists working with collage techniques. The reception was warm and well attended. I was able to meet and spend time with other artists, some of whom I still count as friends.

My limited experience in the field, together with the affection I feel for my works, meant I didn’t want to sell the originals. Instead, I offered numbered prints, a calmer way to share the work without letting go of the original pieces. This experience left me even more eager to continue showing my work and to take the step to another gallery.
